Overview of Cassa Integrazione, Dismissals and Unemployment - November 2012
Authorized hours of CIG (Milan Area), CIG Ordinary (Assolombarda companies) and Unemployment (Italy and other countries).
In Novembre 2012 the authorized hours of Cassa Integrazione Guadagni augmented by 19% in the Milan Area and by 27% at national level as compared with the same month in 2011. The growth was due to CIG Ordinaria and Straordinaria especially.
During the first eleven months of 2012 the authorized hours increased by 12% in Italy (in particular CIG Ordinaria) and diminished by 3% in the Milan Area, as compared with the same period of 2011.
In November 2012 the authorized hours of CIG Ordinaria of Assolombarda companies decreased by 7% compared to October 2012 and were 44% on the total amount of CIGO in the Milan Area.
In Italy the growth of unemployment rate went on and the Italian rate exceeded 11% for the first time since the beginning of crisis; actually, in October 2012 the unemployment rate increased up to 11.1% from 10.8% in September 2012. The unemployment rate augmented in the Euro Area (the European average was 11.7% and remained higher than Italian rate), in Spain and in the USA again; on the contrary, the unemployment rate was static in France and in Germany.
